What age are the children on the Chattanooga campus?
Boys and girls in the Chattanooga residential care program are between the ages of 5 and 18. The children can remain on the campus until graduation from high school and/or college.


Where do the children attend school?
The children attend local schools.


What does it cost for a child to be placed on the Chattanooga campus?
TBCH does not charge a fee but does accept modest financial contributions from a child's family or guardian.

TBCH does not accept state or federal funds. Our current budget is funded from contributions from individuals, churches, income from endowments, investment income, bequests from estates and income from beneficial trusts.


How do the children come into your care?
We receive referrals from families, counselors, community service agencies, and pastors. If you know a family who can use the assistance of the Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes, encourage them to contact us.

Directions:
From the West or South (Nashville, Birmingham, or Atlanta): Take 24 East to 75 North (towards Knoxville). Exit left onto Highway 153. Take the first exit on the right (Lee Highway/U.S. 11). Turn right. The campus is at the foot of the hill on the left-hand side of the road.
From Knoxville: From I-75, exit right at the Shallowford Road exit. Turn left onto Lee Highway. The campus will be six tenths of a mile on the right-hand side of the road.
