Boys
Ranch Program
Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes Double "B" Boys
Ranch is an expanded ministry for boys who have been removed from their natural
homes for a variety of reasons. Set on 224 acres of land in Millington, Tennessee,
the Boys Ranch program is designed to build strong Christian character in
youth from troubled family backgrounds. Each boy is directed toward a new
Christ-filled life through prayer and Bible study.
On this working ranch boys attend local schools and churches,
and build strong character through participation in ranch/work therapy, positive
peer culture, and reality and adventure therapy. Six to eight boys live together
as an active family unit with a married couple who serve as houseparents in
each of the ranch houses. Each ranch house is a large, comfortable, family-style
home with a spacious kitchen, family room, study area, an apartment for the
houseparents, and four bedrooms for up to eight boys (two boys per room).
Life on the Boys Ranch is busy from sun-up to sun-down. Gardening,
household chores, the care of animals and operation of farm equipment, along
with school work and recreation help each boy to be better equipped to live
productively at home and in their communities.
If you, your church, business or civic group is interested in scheduling
outings at the Boys Ranch such as picnics, hayrides, horse drawn wagon rides
by the lake, etc. please email Troy Styers at
tstyers@tbch4kids.org.
Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, whatever
you did for one of these brothers of mine, you did it for me.” Matthew
