Counseling Program

Counseling services through the Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes are open to the public for children and their families. Our counseling programs include, but are not limited to, individual, family, and group counseling and are rendered by qualified TBCH staff.

Children in residence and their families (residential program and Houses of Healing and Hope programs) may receive individual, family, and/or group counseling by either their program director, assigned social worker under the supervision of the program director, and/or a professional counselor whose services are contracted. Counseling topics vary and focus on the individual needs of children and families such as family dynamics, placement, adjustment issues, grief counseling, anger management, self-esteem, time management, etc.

The general public may receive counseling regarding referrals and crisis family situations involving children.
