For more than 116 years, Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes has served as an oasis for thousands of children in crisis. We are committed to offering these services on an on-going basis across Tennessee and are able to fulfill this commitment with the help of caring foundations and corporations.

Through the gifts of foundations and corporations, children at Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes are assisted in receiving:

  • Residential care in family cottages with loving, Christian couples as house parents. Our cottages are set on peaceful campuses where children can safely play and grow.
  • Tutoring and educational assistance. Our main campuses feature computers, educational software, and tutoring volunteers who help the children with their academic skills.
  • Individual counseling with qualified staff. Children benefit from talking with counselors who help them heal from their fears and develop hope and a positive outlook.

Foundations who have generously benefited the children through financial gifts or the donation of equipment include:

  • The Paul W. Barret Jr. Charitable Trust
  • The Buckman Foundation
  • The Nashville Predators Foundation
  • The Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation
  • Publix Supermarket
  • Chattanooga Christian Community Foundation
  • Helping Hands Foundation
  • The Williams Family Foundation
  • William D. Stokely Foundation
  • Baptist Healing Trust
  • Hilliard Lyons
