Our Funding

The Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes, a non-profit organization founded in 1891, is a ministry of the churches of the Tennessee Baptist Convention. Our purpose is the same today as it was when we were founded, to provide a stable family environment for children.

Since 1891, the Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes has not accepted government funding. This is possible because of the generous support we receive from individuals, our Mother's Day Offering and Cooperative Program funds.

Additionally, TBCH is the beneficiary of estate planning of our supporters as well as support from Corporate and individual foundations. Together these revenue streams provide the funds necessary to meet the wide range of needs of the children and families in our care.

But we can use your help. If you are able to donate any resources, we would love for you to partner along side of us in this ministry. To make an on-line donation, click here to be transferred to our on-line donation service GivingMatters.com.

TBCH financial records are audited each year. You may order printed copies of the Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes' audit by calling 1-800-624-8591 or e-mail office@tbch4kids.org or download the complete copy of the 2007 Audit Report. (PDF format)
